How are you all?
Hey there Meg! How’re you doing today love?
I’m really lonely. Come to mama and talk. Please. Ryan? Sara? Anyone?
Hey, is anyone here?
→ ...and a sprinkle of nutmeg:): A Day At The Beach || Ryan and Meghan
Lego House was blasting in the car, the wind was blowing in Meghan’s hair, and everything felt wonderful. “NOW I’LL SURRENDER UP MY HEART, AND SWAP IT FOR YOOOOOURS!” Ryan sang purposely off-key. He then shouted over the music, “Come on, sing it with me Meghan!” Laughing, Meg joined in, “I’M…
Ryan couldn’t help but bust up in laughter as the two best friends practically shouted the lyrics up until the song ended. He didn’t simply let out a chuckle, no. He broke out into a fit of laughter, the kind of laughter that made him smile so much that it made his eyes look like they disappeared (this did not affect his focus on the road though). “Oh my God we are so weird,” he pointed out as the song finally ended. He managed to shoot Meghan one of his big white smiles before he applied his full attention on the road before him. Before they knew it, they were already more than halfway to their destination.
He remembered back to the time when he and his red-headed companion had first met back in Primary School. It was physically and mentally, as well as emotionally, impossible for him to forget that day. He had met her one day in their class back in their 2nd or 3rd year of primary school, in which he made an attempt to say “hello”. He found himself chuckling as the memory of how well they hit it off/got along. They had clicked instantly and have been good friends ever since. Then his mind focused on that one memory ofbthe day he ‘told someone off’ after school. He remembered that day perfect as he vividly saw Meghan and himself book it down the street laughing as he said “Oh man, wait until Daniel hears about this!” with as much excitement as one could possibly have. He smiled at the thought of it, not noticing that he had finally hit the main street that led to the beach.
As they stopped at a red stop light, Ryan turned his head to look at the girl sitting next to him. “So what would you like to do first? Do you want to get something to eat or would you rather just go to the beach first?” he asked his friend, smiling sweetly at her.
I miss this fool… I think I’m going through a Daniel deprivation here.
Is it just me or has it been extremely quite here lately?
Sigh. I miss Daniel… ):. But anyway, what’s up everyone?
Hey! What’s up guys?
Hey there Kate! Long time no see! Haha.
A Day At The Beach || Ryan and Meghan
After about six minutes of waiting on the porch, she saw Ryan’s car drive up. He got out of the car, shutting the door behind him. Damn he’s looking good today she thought. He walked up to her while she ran full force and jumped on him. She had missed him so much. She had gained friends since she’d changed but Ryan was always there for her with that big lovely smile of his. As well, she didn’t have to be someone else while he was around.
The beach was going to be great; California sunshine, ocean waves, warm sand, how could it be bad? In the car ride there, Ryan turned up an Ed Sheeran song, laughing while singing along. He has an amazing voice, truly career-worthy. She’d told him that but he was too modest. That was another thing she loved about him. He wasn’t cocky. The ride to the beach flew by but she hoped the time at the beach wouldn’t.
Ryan was completely caught off guard as Meghan tackled him into one of her signature big bear hugs. He laughed while he hugged her back. “I missed you, Meg,” he said to his bright red headed friend with that big smile of his plastered on his face. As soon as he could pull away from her tight grip, he paused and looked at her for a second. He normally didn’t think much of what his female friends looked like as he was hanging out with them, but in that moment he seemed to realize how adorable she looked in that second, in which led to his smile increasing in size a little. He finally brought himself back to reality before he spoke once more. “C’mon, what are we waiting for? Let’s head off to the beach!” he said enthusiastically while nodding his head towards the general direction of his parked car. He took his friend by the wrist as he led her to the car himself. Once they reached the car, and after he had unlocked it, Ryan let go of Meghan’s wrist in order to open her car door for her. After she got inside the car, Ryan made sure to close her door for her before he made his way over to the driver’s side and got into the car himself. Then the young man buckled his seatbelt, put the keys into the ignition, and started the car. And withing four seconds they were off.
The car ride to the beach, so far, was one that Ryan hadn’t had in what seemed like ages. He and Meg took turns cracking jokes and laughing at each one until they couldn’t laugh anymore. But as soon as Ryan’s favorite Ed Sheeran track came on the radio, he stopped whatever he was saying and gasped loudly. “Oh man, I haven’t heard this song in ages!” he admitted as he turned up the radio. He started singing along to Ed Sheeran’s Lego House, smiling and chuckling at himself as he sometimes made a purposeful sour note in attempt to make Meghan laugh. He was often told that his singing voice was one to be make a career out of someday, but he often times tried to convince others otherwise (though this didn’t exactly work at all). He knew he was an amazing musician, but he saw his vocal ability to only be on the average spectrim if the talent scale.
In the middle of the song, Ryan took a shirt sideways glance at his friend while still smiling that usual smile of his. “Come on, sing it with me Meghan!” he said cinvincingly as the song was in the middle of a short guitar instrumental break. He nudged her slightly as he was determined to get his friend to sing along with him. Ryan wasn’t normally this energetic within the day time, but it was a common side affect of his whenever he was around Meghan (though the cup of cofdee and half a bag of candy he had earlier might have set him off too). Being around her made him not only a little more energetic, but it made a little happier as well. There are only a few people that could keep him geniunely happy no matter what, and one if them just so happened to be Meghan
